This is a good poem, amada. "Karma Kite" is a terrific title for your well constructed smooth flowing metaphorical naani. I like the poem with its smooth flow and succinct spiritual message.

when I open my hands, release my hold,
and let my kite
go.
This is cute, amada. I like the three similar verbs you're using: open, release, let go ... As if I hold myself the kite and it flies high in the sky. Exquisite naani, just exquisite. What more can I say? Wish you the best of luck in the contest, my dear friend.
