Totally charming. I love the way you rhyme your words, especially "swash" and "buckle". I can see you writing that with a smile on your face and a gleam in your eye. Such satisfaction in creating! And a warm comfortable ending. Nice!

This is a great children's poem as told by Teddy Bear. It's light, and it reads fast. I like how he takes us through the day from sun up to bedtime. It's a hard life being a Teddy Bear. There's so much to do.
The couplets in these sestets work well, with easy breezy rhyming. Nothing looks forced or pushed.

Hi Steve - This is not just very well written with good punctuation but flows along perfectly and tells a good story. I like the clever way you split the word swashbuckle in the end line of stanza 2 - an altogether good poem that children will love. Kind regards Dorothy

Totally delightful poem. I loved reading it out loud. The story flowed without all those unnecessary words and phrases some poets insert just to make the rhyme. Wish I had a grandchild young enough to enjoy this. Terrific poem.
