I'll certainly not judge the young man as to his gesture, God looks on the intent of the heart and that really is something we need to leave between him and God. I skimmed the poem, Halloween is creepy to me regardless because it's base is satanic. I'm glad it's over for another year. You're great at the style God has given you. God loves you and so do I.

You are truly spooky, and I wonder about your mind. LOL Actually, the truth is, I admire your imagination, and creativity. Or maybe I'm just a little jealous of it. Or is envious the right word? Whatever. I always say I only write truth because I have no imagination. LOL
The audio, the artwork, the poem ... all wonderfully done.
I wish I had more six star ratings. :( Your author notes are as worthy as your poem. Totally entertaining.
I wonder though, how can a corpse say "I do" or in any way give consent? And did he sleep with her on their wedding night? There's a word for that, but I can't remember what it is.
You are very funny and unique. :) Sandra

Hah, yeah, I wonder about my mind at times myself!:)

I doubt very seriously if they consummated their marriage. At least, I hope not! The word you were looking for is necrophilia, Sandra. That's people (weird-o's!) who enjoy having sex with corpses...Yuch! That turns even my stomach over a flip or two!

Thanks so much for your very encouraging and wonderful review!

Thanks Dean, yep necrophilia is the word, I would have thought of it eventually. :) Sandra

Well, you know me, it's things of that nature that are in my field of expertise. Not the actual act of necrophilia, mind you, but the topic itself. I thought I'd better make that clear, LOL...

I think the two of them were promised to each other before she died. You know, one of those arranged marriages that other cultures have? Well, they both kept their promise. I doubt very seriously if they'll be consummating the marriage. At least, I HOPE not, lol!

Thanks for the review, country ranch writer, it's much appreciated!

I'll let you in on a secret, Dean; I'm a bit of a scary cat and this one, along with the picture had me trembling in my shoes. If that was your aim, the poem and the screams did the trick. Your poem is just about the scariest of the Halloween offering. Nicely done and Happy Halloween!

I love the words you used in this. It is macabre and slightly anachronistic, but exceedingly fun to read. I love the picture and font you chose to go with this, they blended beautifully with the tone you were trying to convey. Excellent work, my friend.

Indeed, truth is far stranger than fiction, for where do we draw our inspiration from? Your poem is outstanding, with utterly brilliant presentation. You are clearly a very accomplished writer, thank you for the inspiration. Would have awarded 6 stars, but none left.

I always draw my inspiration from real facts, usually a few myths and some legends, too. Truth is stranger than fiction. There are some really crazy people out there...and a bunch of good ones, too, like yourself!

    Thanks again, much appreciated...

The music added to your words of Victorian times. I admit it sends chills into my stomach, and made my heart race. I loved your poem and music, your Author's notes flabbergasted me, as I would never think anyone would do something like that. I wish I had a 6 or 7 plus for you, so please except a hug from a living person, me. LOL Loved it, Dean, Blessings

Hah, I'll take a hug from a living, breathing human being over the alternative any day of the week, Matoshka, LOL!

I was a bit taken aback by this story myself, I have to admit...

Thanks you so much for the excellent review. The fact that you liked it is a "six" enough for me, my friend! Much appreciated...

Well, at least there won't be any arguing in the marriage. I am afraid I am with the creeped out group. It is the joining of lives that makes marriage what it is. One life and one corpse isn't quite it. Truly creepy verses. I loved the style and the rhythm. Nicely done.

Yes, for this story, you can cast my vote for the side of CREEPY, most definitely! I would say something clever, like it might be a long marriage because she won't be able to argue with him, and he'll always be right, but that might get me in hot water with the fairer sex, and I don't want to go there, LOL!

Thanks for the great review on this on, GW! I sincerely appreciate it.
