An interesting topic to choose. I found the notes rather helpful in this as I did not know about vampires in the lieu, and that gave important context to the piece. All in all it was well written and beautifully descriptive in all its simplicity.

for a dark poem that you can only do a 5-7-5 line stantz, I was very good. you bought imagary to the poem. the red makes the poem more intense.

Interesting piece. Great alliterative punch and cadence to this. I like the dark, almost foreboding, tone you have created here. Technically sound and has a lot of "flavor" to it. Good luck on the contest, I might have to check out the entries.

Awesome alliteration Anupam! haha. Luminal life-liquor is pure gold. I love the image, the twilight reflecting off a fresh kill, let's all drink up and get drunk on a mortal's life liquid. You spin a dark tale in few words, great work!

I love this one. Glorious alliteration which works on every level. I just adore "luminal life liquor" - what excellent description. The final line sums up their purpose beautifully. This is one of the most captivating 5-7-5s I've read for a long time.

I liked the word choices! Obviously that counts most when writing a 5-7-5, but still very dark and awesome imagery! I like at the end where it seems there is no end to the vampires. They will keep resurrecting and that is downright scary!
