Very well written and a thought provoking poem.
I like your second sentence, reflections in time. I suppose that's what we all will eventually be, just a simple reflection in time and then gone forever.

'to explore the foreign but new roads of life,' what does this mean? (foreign does not preclude new)
This generation is you're,- do you mean yours?

I wish I understood the point of this poem. There is a lot of good imagery-(second line) but I don't know where to put it.
The poem ends on a nice and optimistic note.

What a wonderful way you have with words, this piece is excellent.A sea of dreams as fog rolls in on twilight! Ah just so mellow and just of history age. The distress of evolution of man?. So good, fab work deepwater. Stephy

This generation is [you're] ... I am not sure what you mean here [yours]?
I do like the concept and wording of this poem. That one 'nit' kind of threw me off-balance momentarily during the reading.

You have penned a relevant and revealing poem of sincere homage and respect for the plight we all must take while alive. It matters.

Well done, I've always had compassion for the elderly but the older I get the more it seems to intensify. What society really should do is to stop and realize that wisdom comes with age and we can learn much by taking time to listen to the aging.

Yes I guess in many ways it is time for the changing of the guard. The younger folks will soon take over. This poem is filled with truth and important messages. great job.

A very sensible reminder at this time when we reached the destination, where the hustle and scientific and technological advances us beyond time and space life expectancies are higher. The quality of life of those people who survive has not been taken into account and youth must turn to see who made them get where they are.
Congratulations!

This poem has a rather nostalgic sadness about it, it leaves the reader very contemplative.
It has a depth that escapes alot of writing, well done.
The imagery was great, the flow very easy to read.
Thoroughly enjoyable to read.
