It's hard for me to comment on this. My anger towards Trump supporters has consumed me these days. Continued support for that charlatan is indefensible. Anyway ...
I like your word choices throughout, especially "Trump-full joy." My ear is hearing "beneath" as the final word, to echo the assonance of peace, but that's sort of an incomplete thought, isn't it? Your choice of "underground" certainly emphasizes the finality of the situation, with the hard consonance.
Maybe you should just let it lie there, right?
Good luck with this poem. I enjoyed reading it.

Harry,
I totally agree with your twist at the end of your contest entry. Wearing a mask saves lives - whether it is with your family or meeting someone in the confines of a store.
True, many Trump supporters do not wear masks. Yesterday's rioters are a good case in point; their gathering may indeed become a Covid-19 super spreader (event).
Stay safe. Keep healthy. The vaccine will arrive in your locale and hopefully mine sooner than later!

I don't usually read or comment on posts like this. I felt like this poem was more of a vendetta then a piece of art. Not sure I'd bank this one away to read again but keep speaking from your heart.

Don't agree, but we can agree to disagree. I see the consequence not as a vendetta but as a result of not following sensible guidelines in an effort to make the wearer and those around more safe.
