LeAnn,
Congrats on your 1st place triple the on this 2-6-2. I think that's what I saw. I thought I would review since it's showing up as a four star poem.
I really can identify with the message within as I lived in the Netherlands for almost 3 years.
You met the challenge well and I'm happy you were rewarded with the ribbon.

Thank you. I think I got the four star rating because of the picture I originally had with it. It was a dog smiling. The reviewer thought my poem was about dogs. But that's OK. I was happily surprised to tie for first. Thank you so much for your comments and review. Hugs.

This poem is very original and I like the implication of universal body language. I might put a period at the end since the first word is capitalized and it makes a complete sentence.

You are welcome.

That's a nice idea. Language can betray us in so many ways but a real smile is very hard to fake and so it is much more trustworthy. Thanks for sharing this and have a great day

Thank you. A smile in any language is still a smile! Hugs.

Every dog provides a sense of life, love, and happiness. But say what you feel, put that energy into it. I know with my losses and new pups I have a lot to say. Help others, tell them what emotions you have with animals as they can be very healing.

Thank you for letting me know that readers may misunderstand the words with the photo of the smiling dog attached. My poem wasn't actually about dogs, but how a smile is the same in any language. I remove the photo. Thank you so much for your review. It was actually very helpful. hugs.

You have a lot of heart, just tell it in raw form.
