Alexa wants to go to Mexico and despite not having a passport could reach there. But, I like the ending. She does not know Mexican and the Mexican does not know English. She ends up in the trash. Great story. Thanks for sharing.

Cute story! Alexa is only as good as her cord allows. Her cousin, Siri doesn't seem to be much better. I know I take it personally when she doesn't understand me. Maybe we all need a vacation from Alexa too! Good luck in the contest!

thanks, Lee, for reading and for your comments. One of my sisters gave me an Alexa and sometimes I'm ready to throw her in the trash, but I usually just end up unplugging her. One thing that IS nice, sometimes when I'm reading in bed, I ask her to play Chopin or some pretty classical and when I get sleepy, all I have to do is say, Alexa, stop, instead of having to get up and turn it off.

Well, this is certainly different but then so is this contest. And in terms of the contest, you did just what was asked of you. You made an interesting tale of Alexa somehow taking a day off and travelling. Plus you added in the problems that would be related to such a feat.
