I can't wait until you see your mom, too. You've waited too long not to go visit your family. I hope you can start packing your bag and be safe from the variants out there, too. Use precaution, I guess.

I like this chapter, Iza. Everyone can identify with it.
I had a bad reaction to the first COVID shot, the second one was a breeze.
You talk about being quarantined, and other facets of this horrible epidemic.
Very good work, Iza.
Good luck with all your writing.
Best wishes,
Cindy

Side effects are strange things and are experienced differently by different people and perhaps differently at different times. However bad they may appear to be, I doubt if they are worse than the discomfort caused be the illness they are designed to combat.

Bravo! IZA... I am glad that you found that material things aren't what you need, it's the love and closeness of family and friends. That human contact and caring far exceeds the material things. We like them but we can live without them...Living without are family is difficult. Smiles, CArol

It's so nice to know that your outlook on life has become more positive now, Iza. Sometimes it's often mind-over-matter. I hope you enjoy your visit with your family when the time comes. I too have booked a visit with my family, in BC.

Another great letter to the virus, and in it, we see you reordering your life and the priorities in it. We see you overcoming the side effects, getting back to work, getting back to your family, reconnecting to the world after this long ordeal. There's a really great upbeat swing to the vibe here that is like a relief. I took the Pfizer shots and had hardly any side effects. Only a sore arm. estory

I guess those of us who had no problem with the shots are the rarity rather than the exception. Most people I know have have at least a sore arm and some have had a severe reaction to the second shot. I tend to think the reaction may be a good thing, and those who had one my be safer than those of us who didn't. I'm so glad you're feeling good and have the right attitude about work and family. Family is so important and I'm so glad you will be seeing your family soon. I loved reading your letter to Covid.

Hooray! I love your optimism here. And I am so happy the the effects of the second one was less difficult than the first.
Enjoyed your humor in "the sky is not the limit, but my apartment...."
Suggestions:
I had to step up hardly on the breaks, (hard)
it's the number one on my chart. (It's Number One)
went down the drainer. (drain)

The Corona Saga seems to be progressing steadily with another fine entry of your book. You make the voices of your characters so realistic and fun to read. It was a fine chapter. Great job as always.
