Dear Sally, Thanks for your kind words. The persistence of nature is amazing and seems to offer hope even when reason says "all is lost." Seeds grow even on barren ground, and animals adapt to make the best of their surroundings. I hope people can do the same. --Lane

Thanks for your kind words. I sometimes think age makes things more beautiful not less. A worn statue, a broken pot, the smile on a wrinkled face, all indicate that endurance is a positive virtue. I'll be looking for your poems now. Best --Lane
