I really enjoyed this piece. What lovely imagery you paint. I find it difficult to think of winter during summer. I look forward to reading more of your work.

This is a lovely poem. The syllable count is on point. The poem's font is large enough to be read easily. I like that it is centered under the graphic. I would probably make the font a color in the visual, maybe a shade of purple. The visual fits the poem well. Well-written, well-presented so Well-done! Good luck in the contest.

I really like this ode to Winter because
(1) it captures the mood of the photograph.
(2) it personifies the earth sleeping gently and uses a snug blanket as a metaphor for snow
(3) of its use of alliteration

This is a lovely poem giving a perfect essence to the season of winter. Not a bad choice as it is in the nineties here and cool thoughts help. The picture and the haiku are quite wonderful.

Oh yes indeed, thanks to winter the ground can sleep, or rest in fallowness if you like, this is beautifully written, I love the idea of the ground hibernating, rest under a blanket of snow, well done, good luck, blessings Roy
