You did a wonderful job in this poem describing the end of growth and the beginning of winter and to me it also signified the end of our days here on earth and how some wish. We didn't have to die. Nicely done.

Cathy, I am so pleased you derived all the meaning from my Kyrielle I intended. Thank you very much for your kind praise.

Very well written, with a tone of regret for the arrival of Autumn and its effects on nature. Beautiful presentation as well. It's a strong contender, so I send best wishes for the contest.

Ciao mystery poet, you now have 3 votes.
Yes it is sad to see our roses die as the days become shorter and colder. but unlike you autumn is my favourite season.
I find those sunset hues mesmerising and the land is so generous , its harvest time: grapes, apples, cabbage, pumpkins and potatoes just to mention a few.
Autumn delights my sense of smell , sight, taste.
Love the sound of the wind , it s touch when it makes my hair swirl and dance dance like the fallen leaves.
Hopefully you see autumn in a less harsh light reading why I love it.
Your artwork choice is beautiful.

I, too, love Autumn for all the reasons you cite. But when it shifts into Fall, I get melancholy after witnessing all the death of lovely things. Many thanks for sharing my poem and your comments.

This is a lovely kyrielle poem with a refrain that everyone can relate to. During the autumn season, we have to say goodbye to the lovely leaves and flowers. Just as the autumn of life, we start to have to say goodbye to loved ones. Best wishes in the contest!

You did a beautiful job conveying this message with this poetry format. I have tried the format before, and I found it very hard to achieve but you have done a beautiful job with it. Your message was good. Have a blessed day. Patricia.

This is a good Repetition poem contest entry. The text is a great size. The message is clearly stated and easy to understand. Your rhyme scheme is on point and is consistent.
You have good spacing between your visual and the first line. I would make the spacing a bit larger at the end of the poem. Go to the last line and hit enter once. Your visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.

The author's words are descriptive, sad, and creative. I liked how this
author expresses in each stanza how in the fall many of nature's flowers and leaves die. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is awesome and compliments both the words and theme of this poem.

This is a perfect Kyrielle. Your descriptions paint very clear, easy to visualize pictures, and your rhymes are well chosen. What I like best, as it's not always the case in poems requiring a repeated line, is that you've made the refrain organic, so it fits perfectly in the context in which it's placed in each verse. Excellent job!

Wow! I don?t believe I have ever had a poem described as "perfect" before. I am honored and thrilled by your praise. And many thanks for that six-star bonus, Michele.

You're very welcome, and I "call 'em as I see 'em." I tend to be very stingy with my sixes, but found absolutely nothing in your poem that made it unworthy of one, so enjoy it! 😀

I will! I will! Many thanks!
