The author's words are so true. The poem is engaging, descriptive and
creative. I found these words to say just what happens on social media
sites! I pondered on something I believe "think first before you speak or write"! The artwork is awesome and compliments this poem. Great Poem!

Thank you for the nice review. I'm glad you like the poem. Too many people believe these strange things they read on the internet. Sometimes they get angry if others don't share their opinion.

Excellent attempt at this quite complex and difficult form, Beth. Well done! A really good analysis of the evils of computers and social media, however much good they might also do. Did this win?

No it got third place and along with others. I didn't expect it to do too well. Too many people are intrigued by conspiracies including some of my family members. Thank you for the review.

Wow, Beth! How did I miss this? You're on fire with these contest entries! And this one is great. Such a good topic and your verse flows beautifully with clever, unforced rhyme, sending your message out loud and clear. From one who has been well and truly conned earlier this year, I really appreciate the force of your strong words here. Well done! Debbie

Thnak you Debbie. Three of my four kids have been conned anrd that has me concerned because they still don't realize it. So it is a topic that weight heavy for me. I'm been entering contests to see I can win enough to boost my member dollars. So far it is costing more to enter. I won 3.75 on this one. LOL

Well, you deserved more. This raising of dollars is a bit of a nightmare isn't it? I have no idea how some can post almost daily unless they're using hard cash to buy them:(

I like how you structured your poem. Everything flows together, a rhythm is contained within the poem. You also did a good job choosing a subject for the writing prompt in this contest.

Thank you Andrea. I appreciate the review and nice comments.
Comment from Loren .
Well put and so reflective of today's society and challenges. You followed through with the rules for this challenge. Add that to the contemporary theme of the poem itself, I think you have a winner here. Best of luck. Loren

This poem was right on the money. Good workI Imagine this was hard to do. When you get a chance, please read my first lune poem, my first poem period, and my first writing here, "Remittance". Tell me what you think. Karen

U R Welcome Karen

I'm not sure why you think I'm Karen. This is blind contest. You aren't supposed to know who I am.
Comment from Bill Schott
This Pleiades poem, Conspiracies, has the proper formatting and seems to be the result of allowing conspiracy theorists like Rupert Murdock move his scandal rags to the mainstream through Fox "News".

Thank you Bill. I think you understand the problem. Too many are falling victim to these conspiracies. They seem interesting and possible but they lead to fear and distrust of everything.
Comment from Dolly'sPoems
There is so much truth in these words and conspiracy theories put fear into people and I remember during the pandemic people were afraid to be inoculated and some even died as a result as doctors were encouraging people not to have the vaccine. I enjoyed your fine post for the contest, love Dolly x x x

Thank you, Dolly. Conspiracies are on my mind a lot late as I see so many being caught up in the web including my own children.

Cute little poem and so true to our reality - Collecting tidbits designed to hurt
Cults create fear as means to convert - disinformation is the death of a nation:) Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.
