You are so correct. Many people who are beautiful on the outside are truly ugly on the inside. True beauty comes from within. Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. I enjoyed reading and good luck with the contest.

Your well written piece of poetry coneys a very true message that "Beautiful people are those who show,
Compassion and concern for others,"
I believe it is very important to put others before ourselves especially at Christmas time.

He looks like he would be a very kind hearted man. Your daughter is pretty. I'm sure he is pleased to be able to escort such a nice looking lady. I agree compassion and concern do indicate beautiful people.

The is a beautiful photo of your daughter and her husband. But what really shines is the message in your poem about what beautiful really means. And it is a quality of the heart, not external features. I really like this.

I agree with you. I think this is the most apt description of beauty. So much of what passes for beauty elsewhere is the world is really narcissism. Thanks for sharing this tribute to Larry and all who are like him.

This is great ABC poem. I'm happy that you allowed the words to flow from one line to a next rather than feeling like you have to start each line as a new sentence. I agree, men can be beautiful too.
