Thank you, Margaret. It was initially a "blind" entry. I rarely enter contests unless I?m really happy with my post. This one blew up in my face. I think you?re the sixth or seventh reader.

I was wondering why I didn't see it. I guess because it was a blind entry. I only do (98%) Site sponsored contests. I gave up the the member contests a long time ago. M

This is glorious and fun. When I got tired of getting close and no cigar was in the offing, I took it to the bathroom with me, and gently peeled off spots until it was properly fleshed. Did I feel bad ? Nope. :-)

What a fun twist. This story was told in a fun way and the last sentence opened up so many possibilities. Would you use the Rubik Cube again? I'd be tempted.
I think it's a great story that makes a person put themselves in the shoes of the protagonist. You managed to do that in 100 words! Remarkable!
