Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. I enjoyed reading and yes, being smaller doesn't mean anything. Loved the photograph. Good luck with the contest.
Ah, "Out of the mouths of babes.". (Omit the second period, it's not needed.)

Very timely lesson given to all of us by this young boy. Your grandson really has a big heart. I can feel the joy and pride you feel through your well expressed words. My son is a small for his age, but man is he quick!
Good luck in the contest.

Beautiful picture of you and him. Somehow I pictured you with dark hair, since you are from Spain. I guess I have never read about your parents and their nationality. So someday will look a little closer at your portfolio.
I am so happy that I still had saved one of my sixes for a masterpiece. I almost gave it to your other post, but when I saw this I fell in love and now I see why I have always known there was something about Atticus that I loved besides his name. (Even tho we never met) he is unique and sweet and a lot like his grandmother.
Let's hope he is as talented as her too. How old is Atticus?
I have my youngest grandson, Keaton, was 2 lbs and will never be very big, as he has a pituitary disorder and makes up for being small by his charm. He gives himself growth hormone shots every day and is 12 years old. He may never go through puberty, but they won't know until that time comes which should be soon.
I love that your sweet little Atticus loves his grandma so much, so please tell him that we do here too. Hugs to you both!! Love, Debi

Very cool peek into the day to day of the talented Gypsy. I liked the fact that the title tied perfectly into the story. Sometimes the title and meat of the poem make no sense to me. Very cool piece of flash and beautiful haiku. Gretchen

Gypsy, I really enjoyed reading this flash fiction story you have penned for the contest. The picture you shared with us is very nice. It is amazing what a picture can tell. This one tells of your love for your newborn grandson. Thanks for sharing and best wishes in the contest! love and blessings, Teri

What a great story for the flash contest - and it's like a haibun. Atticus is so cute and I'm glad he doesn't let his size change his view of his abilities - his soul is big and strong and fast like the falcon! Best wishes in the contest!
