Laughter can reduce stress and replace anxiety with a more relaxed approach. Sometimes we simply need to let go of our concerns, and find joy in life.

Congratulations on winning the 15 syllable poem contest and being Recognized.
Evidently what was going on in the background, didn't bother the two men in the picture.
You have 15 syllables in your poem.

Yes, indeed, Bill, just a moment of laughter has, at times, changed my attitude, giving me a chance to realize laughing is much better than crying...
Congratulations on the win!

All the best to you.

Warmly,
Victoria

Hi Bill,
This is so true. Laughter calms down worries and stresses. Being in a war zone is one of the world's most anxiety producing arena. I thank all who have served and are serving and have died while serving.
Congrats on winning the contest,
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Have a wonderful day.
Joan

This is so true. My nonverbal daughter's laughter was why they let her stand outside in a courtyard for 6 months at her school. They thought rain was "her favorite weather." Ugh. I pulled her out. She's homeschooled now, and she's so much happier.

Was this school located in 1880? That is preposterous. So sorry she was treated so poorly.

Nope, it was in Anacortes, Washington. I know.... I couldn't believe I let it go on either. It was such a stupid situation. Things are so much better now. I just had to accept reality. And I try not to laugh when I'm anxious anymore either. It only makes mean people bolder. :(

This is excellent and so true of myself then again giddiness runs in my family so has a habit of leaking out in several situations. It's a nice way of dealing with the stuff that life throws at you.
All the best.
Jill:)
