Yes, burn it. They don't want to deal with the devil. This is catch up for me, my friend. You never disappoint in your writing. I'm glad I can 'turn the page' and read on! I want to see what they do. Well done, Rhonda! Warmest hugs Sandra xxxx

I am always eager to read a new chapter and am never disappointed in what it turns out to be. There is so much going on--and some good lessons on mythology get thrown into the mix, as well. Excellent, my friend!

Hi Lily, thank you so much for the review, especially the 6 stars!!
I love Greek Mythology, so had to bring it out. I love feedback, and thanks again, my friend,
Rhonda

Another fine chapter, Rhonda, and the guy who wrote that letter seem a bit dicky to me, they'd better tread carefully. Having said that, I probably read it wrong, so never mind me!

He?s definitely a jerk, but if everyone in the world is scared of you, I guess you can afford to be, lol!
Thanks for the review!!

So, a serial arsonist murdered both families.
A couple cliches in "God keeps His eye on the sparrow" and "an angel to keep watch over us."
An interesting challenge, and one that places them in serious jeopardy. To forfeit their powers and rely on someone they do not trust.
An intriguing storyline.

Thank you for your review, Brett. Their common enemy is Hades, pretty much a series everything. I?ll preface the idioms, which I actually did in the original.
Appreciate you stopping by!

Good artwork and chapter to go with it, Rhonda. You do a good job with the two main characters who begin by talking about the nature of love. The mood is peaceful as Theo asks him a question about true love. Hermes replies with a good explanation.
Then the focus turns to what motivated Hermes to do the things he does, and he has another good answer. He is focused on what Hades is trying to do, and wants the same thing as Theo in that regard, but he does go on to describe the woman he cares about. Is she someone we should know about or will she appear later? I like Theo's logic at the end of that scene.
Their peace is now disturbed by the letter from Hypnos and Thanatos. Didn't someone else in a previous chapter have to pass a test of bravery, as well? Just curious. Theo and Hermes didn't have to think long about what their response would be to the letter. Things are definitely getting more complicated and dangerous because there are bound to be trust issues when dealing with those out for their own gain. Well done, my friend.

Hi Pam,
Thank you for the lovely six star review.
This is one of those between action chapters to give the reader an emotional break, and to reveal some things.
The tests of bravery were very important to many cultures, including Native Americans, and, of course, the Greeks. It is a common thread in this book. Echo had to prove it when she traveled through the woods with Theo, shedding her former life in the process.
Phillip with Hannah in the caves, Adam with Echo, Theo going to the sorcerer?s cave, and now, one of the biggest of all. Theo, and Hermes for that matter, will pass a test and build character at the same time. They will learn things about themselves they never knew under the protection of immortality.
Thanks for providing me a sounding board!
Take care,
Rhonda

Hermes has someone he really loves? That should be interesting as she is with Echo. Giving up their powers makes this task sound almost impossible. Being like humans could be difficult if not impossible.

Hi Carol. You?re right, being human will be quite a challenge. They have challenges ahead, for sure.
Thank you for the review,

They knew how to relax in spite of the impending attack: "Theo was lying on the ground staring up at the stars." this is the kind of friend we should all have: ""You're risking your immortal life for a good friend?" Strict rules. Now Theo has quite a challenge. The reader will want to return.

Thank you for the lovely review, Liz. Their relaxed mood has a lot to do with Hypnos, he?s sneaky.

Your story keeps getting better with each chapter. I have faith that you will bring everyone home safely. Your writing is perfect, and the dialogue is believable. Nice writing.

Theo has to save his brother and it seems there is always something dangerous at stake of the Gods. So the twins don't operate on the same way as the rest of the Gods. I'm starting to feel Hypnos is getting to me. I keep falling asleep., It is that time of day after a meal.

Well, well, the thought that Hermes could lose his Immortally would mean he would woo his own true love, but there is a gargantuan going on, I know the Greek gods are more human than humans, and even Theo is in danger of being ruled by Hades, who has a great lust for power, great post Dear Rhonda, blessings Roy

Hi Roy, thank you for your insightful review, my friend. Yes, I like that, more human than humans! With their immortality stripped, they will have to take the same chances as anyone else. Then they?ll discover their true characters.
Take care,
Rhonda
