This is a really well written 75-word Flash you have penned for the contest. This is a six star write in my eyes. You used very good descriptive words. Best wishes in the contest. Teri

Monica,
This is a great commentary about the sign of our times.
You tell this deftly, in 75 words, building up to the tragic end.
I hope you do well in the contest.
Best wishes,
Cindy

The flash entry effectively conveys tension and urgency in just 75 words, capturing a dramatic and intense moment. The scene is vivid, and the progression from recognition to the final impact is clear. Thank you very much for the suggestions. I will look into that as soon as I can. I am moving my 90 year old mother, so not much time for me - lol.

Oh dear, this ex had murderous intentions and this poor girl failed to dodge the bullet here. Although this is light heatedly presented, this sadly does happen to some poor souls, love Dolly x x x

Yes, it is terrible that this is a norm in our society now. More and more violence is happening where I live, because although we are technically a small town (you can get completely across town in any direction in ten minutes), the powers that be are insisting upon making us a big city. They continue to bring in more and more people, and we are on top of each other. Naturally, this promotes anger, which leads to violence.
