Thank you so much for joining us in supporting our dear friend Nomi here. I like how you contrast the pain in this life and the pain-free life of Yvonne in Heaven. That in itself is some consolation.

    I hope it helps. I enjoy his work and reviews. Loss on this level can be destructive without support. I hope he continues to express his feelings on paper instead of bottling them up inside. We are blessed to have this site as it creates family and friends.

I don't know what it would take to ease the sorrow of losing a mate of 51-years, but I'm sure all the kind words, poems, and just knowing there are those who care will make a difference. Thanks for sharing.

A thoughtful poem of consolation and hope for a friend who has gone through the heartbreak of his wife's death. To some extent your poem describes the stages of grief that most folk are familiar with - the pain will lessen, but it takes time.
