This is such a sweet story. I liked the humor in it, too. She looks like she could dance the hula, because her costume was perfect. I always loved my costumes when I danced tap and ballet, and they inspired me to dance. Thanks for sharing that sweet memory.

The story is touching and the joyous life of Morgan shines brightly. Your choice of Izzy's song is a beautiful one. I could listen to him sing and play it for hours. It's always good to have a little Hula every now and then.

Ha. Those socks are killing me. But she got the rest of the outfit right. I guess you guys didn't have any coconuts in the house.

Very nice, this short reminds of that children were meant to be a blessing to the family.

Short and sweet. Love the illustration and the memory. sounds like a "tiny love story" from The New York Times. very creative little girl.
Love the analogy of the snuffling boar.
Just unsure if grandpa was sick or was he a doctor, a little unclear.

Morgan was our sweet grand-daughter. She died in 2014. Writing her stories now for her brother Ben. A number of her stories are titled "Grandpa...."
Thanks for your generous stars. Esther

Grandma's are always better at everything, Esther. You know that! LOL Morgan is so adorable in her hula outfit and the story is so sweet. That's great therapy to write ....do some more. Everyone loves to read sweet ones.
Smiles, Carol

This is precious. What a joy they bring to our lives and how did we ever live before they got here? Put those memories in writing like this and grab the photos. They will be invaluable later. Thanks for sharing.

This is an adorable memory of an adorably cute little girl. Her big friendly smile is incredible. When you write your precious memories they become immortalized. My favorite line is, "Grandma is better at pretending to be asleep."

Women have more practice...haha. Just looking at all the pictures of Morgan memories flood back. I think she would be 17 this year?

Without the physical differences, I looked like that when I was young. Take care of Morgan so she doesn't end up like me. This was a too-cute photo with a feel-good style.

What a fabulous wake-up-call! What a lively and creative child! She figured out to use the surgical masks like that all by herself? I don't know how I'd react if someone opened my eyelid for me. Lol. What a precious memory. I can just hear Iz singing and see Morgan dancing!

I'm so glad!! How long ago was it? I know time isn't the cure they say it is, but it does help.

2014. I have always written out my feelings but just found fanstory last March. It is healing to be able to share about Morgan and the confusing journey of trying to make a circle of love in our family without her.
