Misshapen Pumpkins

Comment from Gloria ....
Great idea for this contest, but where I live all the misshapen pumpkins are culled before the crop even reaches the supermarket. Only perfection, or near perfection, is allowed in the stores. I think it's a great waste too, but it is what it is.
Wishing you all the best with the voters. :)

I enjoyed your poem. Pumpkins are surely different. They are unique and creative. Nice poem. Good luck in the contest. The two pumpkins on either end are surely different.

Pumpkins can be quite different from one another, and they seem to be designed for hole cutting in which those magic faces appear, I love your perspective on this activity, well done, beautifully written, blessings Roy

I like this 5-7-5 poem about pumpkins because it can relate to human lives. Yes, instead of crying about the lemons we have been "given", let's go ahead and make lemonade.

I had my doubts that anyone could pull off a pumpkin 5-7-5, but you've done a great job with this one! Your subject matter and syllable counts were perfect. I also liked the picture you supplied. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

-That is a motley crew of pumpkins and a good presentation.
-The syllable count is good.
-A very good opening line inviting us to try something different.
-Don't choose the perfect pumpkin "and get creative."
-I think it would take some creativity, but the
ideas would be endless and fun to do.
-I like your take on the contest, good luck!

This is a good entry for the 5-7-5 Pumpkin writing prompt competition. I love the artwork which is a perfect illustrations. The pumpkin imperfections just add to the personality of the carvings. Great message~ one spelling note: pumkin=pumpkin. Great job!

I've got all kinds of misshaped pumpkins and I never planted the vine...I think the birds did. There's big ones, little ones, orange and green ones. It definitely is unique.
