Gee I love that final verse. It sums up my every interpretation of my long-ago and almost forgotten Catholic Nuns upbringing.
This poem reveals a lot about the writer, and the reader senses a degree of vulnerability. In my opinion this makes it a inspirational read.

When i think about the saying "love is blind", I often think about how God doesn't see us for our flaws. He sees us for our potential. He continues to nurture us and protect and love us. This was beautiful, Roy. Gretchen

God granted us a perfect Salvation Plan even after we did despite to the first. He gave us everything we need, yet men still do despite to it. Temptation is strong, but God is mightier.
