Oliver certainly does have a different attitude toward Noah than he had in the pages of the diary. When he slams out of the annex and into the house, it seems rather threatening to someone, hopefully not Callum.

Oh my gosh, I love the way this chapter evolved. First, we see the attitude Noah had from her mother's perspective. Something changed that! Funny her mother used the name Grace for her, but changed it later. Gotta wonder what happened.
Then, the exciting and mysterious ending.
Well written,
Rhonda

Jacob, This is a very interesting chapter. You used very good descriptive words. I am going to have to go back and read back further. Thanks for sharing. Teri

The police maybe? that would be nice if someone would wise up around that place. LOl Can't wait to see what has set Oliver off this time. Great job, Jacob.

I enjoy you little cliff hangers where something happens we can wonder about until you post again. It seems Dainielle is skimming through the Diary and just reading bits and pieces. Maybe she can still find some information in it.

This is a poignant read after all the drama that's been going on. Danielle has a chance to reflect in peace and start trying to pull the strands together. Only by looking back on the past can she find some kind of resolution. And yet Oliver's mantra is always to let go. It seems to be in his interest that people comply with his demand. An enjoyable chapter with skilful contrast, filling in a bit more information but still leaving a lot of gaps in this mystery. Take care Jacob. Debbie

Yes, why is Oliver so upset. Is it information about Noah? Are the police onto to something. Or did he find out that Max is asking questions again. I'd really like to know. I can't wait to read more.

Jacob,
Another great read. I always enjoy your chapters. You are brilliant in the fact that you leave your readers hanging on the edge for more.
I did find one small typo:
know I'll have my hands{ fall }. when Grace arrives, but I'm getting sick - I believe this word should be {full}.
Great job. Looking forward to the next chapter.
