It's not a very nice feeling to feel the blues or feel unwanted because you haven't accomplished anything to talk about. days like that happen when you feel bored or unhappy about something in particular.
Your picture sure casts a bad day.

I have had days like that when you don't feel as though you would register on scale or metering device of any kind. You were simply existing that day, breathing alone kept you alive.

Interesting concept, and excellent nonet format followed for each line. You did a great job of writing about an emotion. The feeling of not being able to accomplish anything and just struggling through the day. That seems to describe a form of depression. Your descriptive word unfocused and out of sorts work well. Plodded makes a very strong verb. Best of luck in the contest. judi

You're right! Perhaps this is a day when you just like the world to stand still. It happened to me every time I have lots of things to do and I'm not in any mood to do them. I hate being burden with so many things that's why! it fits the requirements of the contest. Nice!

You've chosen an emotion that's a little hard to define but real nonetheless and did a good job of describing it. I got two things out of this poem: humans tend to own a day (or not) at it's end by how they feel about their role in it, and, a day doesn't depend on any of us to run it's course. Good nonet and luck with the contest.

Very well done. I think we've all been in that position before, many times I might add. You tell a complete story in only a few lines and words, and I was left nodding my head in agreement.
