Debbie; from your writing I believe you on the right path to discovering a whole new world for you this year. With your involvement with crafts and writing will help you develop and find your new path to follow in a positive manner throughout the new year. your rhyming was done very well and neither forced nor strained and very helpful in the rhythmic flow of your poem. The picture you have chosen was very positive and complement your poem very well. thank you for sharing and posting and good luck in the new year and may the Lord be with you always Debbie.

Your poem is exactly the words that I would have written, I was so pleased to get 2014 out the way. Now we must look forward to a year that will, hopefully, be so much better. You have written this so well. I wish you the best year ever. :) sandra xsx

Thank you so very much for the six, but mostly for being a friend and source of support. Fanstory family is the only thing that got me through this last year. Hopefully this year I can do the same for others. Have a blessed evening. Love~Debbie

I certainly hope the New Year will be kind to you Debbie. They say God will not put more on us than we can handle but sometimes it's hard to see. You have had a lot of sadness and tragedy in you life. I pray it will be better. Love. Nancy

The focus of the poem, what will 2015 bring?
The rhyming carries us from line to line, as a bubbling brook flowing slowly forward.
The rhythm is as a bouncing ball pausing on each word to strengthen the meaning of the word.
The subject is relevant to the author and it;s subject depression.
The line breaks give a natural pause and a time for thought.
The writing style is serious.
The poem causes visual thinking.
Debbie, have a beautiful week. Walk within God's shadow of protection. *o* Rita

It seems 2014 was a rather trying year for many. We, who go by a calendar, fool ourselves into believing that turning the page on a big calendar will change the future. Funny huh? However, I do wish 2015 treats you well.

This is a very upbeat, uplifting poem and I sincerely hope that 2015 will be all that you would like it to be.
As for me, life past 1/31/15 totally depends of faith and God's blessings. If He helps, like I am planning on him doing - 2015 might be a great year. If He doesn't, then ....
Thanks for sharing this, Debbie. JW

Hi, Debbie,
And a most blessed and calm new year to you as well, my friend. A fresh year--a fresh outlook.
FYI:: You have a stray, it looks like a -single quotation mark- between the last two paragraphs.
Cheers & Blessings
