Great to see you back and posting again, Vance...
Re your free verse philosophical poem, "he Majesty of Creation;" The title and violet branch of a flower caught my attention immediately. Especially, since violet is on such on such a high vibrational scale both musically and spiritually speaking. I then read your author's notes in order to make sure I was on the fight track....and I see that I was....
Your opening line, "Shhh: Hush, Hush now dear one," made me feel secure as though a higher power was gong to speak and reveal something of vast importance to me., and so it did.
Re your line, "Behold the birth of life blossoming from the rich soil of your mind...and onwards. ..It Meant even something more special since it included others, and the great part "gratitude" plays in our daily lives, and how very important it is, and sadly not often realized until too late.
I love your line, "this majestic garden of consciousness." How vivid and beautiful a picture. Your saying that gratitude is an ever-present mirror which reflects our gifts is certainly an apt description of the multiple parts it plays in our daily lives., along with wisdom and understanding? and especially, God's sovereign power within us.
You go on to say to look upon this tiny purple flower and to consider its complexity any many other facets of wisdom it communicates to us.. I love the line where you describe it as "a marvelous minute and tender extent that screams love and splendor from its silent tiny leaves." (How beautifully said!) It proves to me that nothing is beyond our imagination, lest we damn ourselves to the solvency of woe, deep forever within the dark, cold, ocean of regret! "
That is something I certainly would not like to experience!
All in all, a message to the wise to heed or not to heed-the outcome being their just reward.
Congratulations, Vance, ...another great epic of divine wisdom from your pen always guided by the hand of God almighty, above. Nan:))

Dearest, beloved Nan: so wonderful to hear from you and I'm so delighted that you enjoyed this work. I hoped that you would! I'm always truly GRATEFUL when I know that my thought-wishes are received and may become a gift of meaning and at least some mission achieved in "enlightening" others. Blessings and love! Vance

Dearest Vance... So pleased to know you are going forward with your quest and monumental mission on teaching other souls the true meaning of
GRATITUDE with such fortitude and getting such a wonderful response from the viewers on FS. .. It seems one does not really APPRECIATE that every BREATH is a PRECIOIUS GIFT FROM GOD, AND NOT TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY..
It appears so many people are walking around in a SLUMBER or STUPOR, and all one has to do is go the airport or other populated place and see the looks on people's not-too-happy faces.
I wish there was a way your message on GRATITUDE could be posted on BILLBOARS and SHOUTED throughout the WORLD aid hopefully wake them up (me included) before it is too late.
I told you FROM DAY ONE that you are TRULY a blessed SOUL AND VOICE that is heard and to be heeded, and not as mine, a mere voice in the wilderness to a few,
Your ever loving friend and admirer throughout eternity Nan:))

I enjoy that this poem begins with sounds. It is not only creative but also sets the tone for the poem. A tone of quiet or peacefulness. It also tells the reader that the speaker is loving toward the subject of the poem. Great job!

You wonderful words of wisdom and encouragement ring powerfully true in this free verse philosophical piece. I love the gentle start. You pulled the energy of the earth to the page and manifested the glory of God's creation through word portraits of its glory. Your desire to instigate gratitude is a compelling plea. I loved it.

Hi Treischel: and thanks so much for your very encouraging and uplifting review! I always enjoy your works and I'm truly honored to know that my work had strength in meaning for you! I truly believe that Gratitude is the most "bulletproof" state of mind that one can achieve and as poets, we certainly want to share thoughts with others that will not only enlighten, but refresh their spirits and help them to embrace greater joy and (giving of themselves) in their works and lives also! Blessings! Vance

Beautifully descriptive piece of free verse. Really good use of metaphor throughout. I particularly like 'Behold the birth of life blossoming from the rich soil of your mind' - one of the nicest metaphors I have read recently. A very good piece of writing. Warm regards Dorothy x

Dorothy, please accept my sincere thanks for your lovely review! My poetic mission is to promote the achievement and acceptance of GRATITUDE by all poets and spawn the Curiosity: of why this is the most "Bulletproof" state of mind that one might ever achieve! As poets we often exchange so many dark and painful emotions but brightest lights of joy the spirit can ever see are truly lit through the genuine expression and embrace of GRATITUDE. Blessings and thanks! Vance

Hi Vance, an excellently structured piece of prose writing that warns of the dangers of complacency and urges us to believe in who and what we are. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and will take a couple of notes from it my friend.

So true! Great wisdom here, gratitude and appreciation are the highest energies, with love. Create, create....you're right...too many of us 'bury our talents'...afraid to invest in ourselves. As always....wonderful! Blessings!

Dear Irish Rain: I thank you so much for honoring my work (and my mission of promoting GRATITUDE) through poetry. It is truly the most "bulletproof" state of mind that anyone can ever achieve and as poets, I hope we can use our energies to focus on the brighter joys of life rather than so much of the "he/she broke my heart and now I'm just so blue" themes. We have the power to CREATE beautiful and inspiring thoughts!! Blessings and Hugs! Vance

You are most welcome Mr. Vance...I believe as you do...when you are grateful, you will always be given more to be grateful for....have a wonderful night!

This poem is on another plane. I enjoyed the poem but found it very flowery and twisty for my tastes. Also I had a lot of trouble understanding the message. It was well written hence the five. Thank you for sharing.

dear dmt1967, I'm sorry that my mission fell short with you but I have a goal to promote "GRATITUDE" as the most bulletproof state of mind that anyone might ever achieve. I know that in that state, the mind is fully positive and respectful of the grand works of God and life and not just the petty problems and disappointments that face all of us each day. as a poet, I'm eager to help people lift their spirits and not wallow in self pity, anger, and frustration for those everyday, common challenges that face all of us. We are gifted by God as 'CREATORS" and I believe we should embrace that, celebrate that, and USE those gifts to make good things happen.....AND BE GRATEFUL FOR THIS POWER! I hope this helps to better understand! Blessings and good wishes. His Grayness: Vance
