What a very sweet little poem!
Our bees do a wonderful job and we should cherish and nurture their food sources.
Like you said in your poem there are times when the bee makes one cower but the
sting is rarely used......we are more likely to cause them harm!

A lovely little poem about the bee that is your picture prompt. You have
nicely written how the bee is such an important part of our environment.
They pollinate the plants so food will grow. Nicely done!

Great entry into the contest. Wish you best of luck. The first line of fourth stanza is a bit awkward to read...the meter is off, as in the first line of fifth stanza. Regardless, it was delightful to read and I enjoyed it very much. God bless and hugs, Susanne

This poem is wonderful because it has humor, depth, lightness, seriousness, temporal importance, and lots of other interesting qualities that aren't always found together in the same poem. Quite a feat. I liked your rhyming pattern also, and the fact that you stick to the meter. Good on you.
