This is such a sweet and endearing poem for the Memorable Moments writing prompt contest. I really enjoyed the way it rhymed through to unravel a story on the innocence and beauty of children and their questioning minds. A most enjoyable read, well done! ~DD

This was great as it took third in the contest and I am going to copy it and send it to DJ.He is now grown and expecting a son in December so I am so excited and have told him what to expect. Thanks so much for your review and have a great day.

Yes my little granddaughter, and one of my grandsons have shown that special quality, my 6yr old grandson, when asked by his teacher, when caught in a reflective moment, what was he thinking, he replied, considering my future! This is an excellent work, skilful and imaginative triplets, in equal meter, well done, blessings, Roy

An excellent entry in this poetry contest, "memorable moments". Yes my little granddaughter, and one of my grandsons have shown that special quality, my 6yr old grandson, when asked by his teacher, when caught in a reflective moment, what was he thinking, he replied, considering my future! I absolutely adore this poem...the rhyming is great and the subject matter so interesting, I had no idea what it was going to be about just glancing at the poem before reading it. Deserves a sixer in my opinion. fluff

Mine asked...Who wrote the Bible?....uh...no one in church could answer for the Old Testament....Another question: Who gave birth to God? Is he like the nesting dolls...a God..within a God..within..for innfinity?

Kids say the darnedest things, don't they? Things like: Why is the sky blue and the grass green? Why not the other way around? Why do some people have dark skin and dark hair while others have pale skin and red hair? Why...Why...Why...
So, when they ask these sorts of questions, they rely on us to have the answers. And we'd better, too, or they'll ask someone else whom we may not agree with.
