I really love this, I'm a fan of country music and this is very well written. I like the subject matter, it has a nice rhythm to it, I can imagine the music to go with it. I think you have a very good chance in the contest. Loved the title of the song as well.

Only one thing that I think would make this better...though I already think it's wonderful...the line 'I am out the door'...at the very end, right after, 'to make me wait around for you.' One of the best entries I've seen! It would wrap it up nicely. I love this, and I love that line!! Good luck, blessings...

I like the words in this song, I mean it is a sad story but good rhyming makes it have good rhythm . I am an old country boy and I am amazed at how much country songs are about cheating.

Howdy, The title did not say much. Nearly skipped it and let it go.. But what caught my attention was country western.
I had to stop and peek for often play those tunes..
Yours was tuneless, but I liked it and could just hear it play..Fits right in the country tunes I thought, much as the words hurt as your heart. But cheer up.. Look what it made you do. Write.. Regards nartoonla
