The joy of children personified is contained in your 5-7-5 writing prompt.
Your selected illustration exemplifies their squeals, bewilderment of life and the various pathways to explore.
Best wishes in the voting for your entry.

Your verse, and the matching picture, show children at their very best. Happy, playing and innocent.
And yes, their futures are unknown.
Well done and good luck with the contest.

A very well-written poem about children that can spontaneously burst out in laughter and we know and see their happiness in their eyes. We wonder if they will still be so happy in a few years time.

So right what lies ahead, none of us is capable of guessing. So the best approach is to go with the flow and worry about it when wearing that particular type of shoes. Good luck with the contest.

Your well-written poem so aptly expresses the thoughts I have about my grandchildren and their children. I pray for them a LOT. "Innocence
personified"--I like that.

No.... that's not what you should focus on when you hear those squeals...you should focus on their happiness and innocence and let it soothe your soul for today: tomorrow has enough trouble of its own. :) A wonderful offering for the contest -- good luck! ;)

Yes, we all hope the path ahead is going to be an easy one but it almost never is. It's a pity we don't have abit more control over what life throws at us.
