Ciao Poet: I find this poem interesting in that the spring season has always put me in mind of the, robin red-breast bird. This is different, unique. It's gripping, intriguing, stimulating...which makes it provocative. This poem fascinates me...made me want to know more about our, "Pretty Blue Boy." Here's what I found. Our Blue Bird, friend here is from my neck of the woods. It is any of several small North American, "song birds."..having predominantly blue plumage. When spring is in swing it's incited to sing. I like that, poet...I like that. I thank you for sharing. You are appreciated. God bless you. Ciao, poet. Cordially: rhonnie69.

That's it, my boy, shake them tail feathers! It's amazing, the kind of displays Nature has devised for the different species. Our own courting rituals none the less undignified, I suppose. Preening and primping.
Strutting and posturing. I do believe Nature takes delight in our making fools of ourselves.
Best of luck at the polls.
Peace, Lee

Mother Nature never stops amazing me...
...during Spring the rituals of courting are numerous : some weird , some surprising and others captivating ...like in the case of this tiny tyke?s ...so cute.

Spring in its glow, tune, note, colour and fragrance appear once again in fulfilling dreams, in this global crisis; wish this contest entry win; well said, well done.
