When all the scenes of life pass by my eyes and loved ones smiles shine from paradise, I know I've come home, author. Life, right now, is what we make of it. The heavens are waiting for many of the chosen, many will live to see the future. Let's hope it is better. This is a good offering for the Faith Poetry contest.

Thank you very much for your high-rating appreciation of my poem. I hope others like it as much as you do... or at least read it and feel enlightened or uplifted by it.

A very well-written heartfelt faith poem. It is a wonderful thought to think about when our light on this earth is blown out there will be a much brighter light waiting for us on the other side.

Beautiful writing. Clearly states of your strong faith and believe in god. Worlds been watered by Tragic tears and ground down by my fears. When my wick is turned down it's time to leave. There's a brighter light I believe. Very spiritual piece.

A very good poem using lots of when, where, why. It brings the reader to the present moment, because all of us has those when, whys, and why not. Very well done. One to remember.

A nice spiritual poem with a grand artistic presentation and artwork. You bring out well that at the time of our darkest despair and fear God is always there, to guide and lead the way. He is there protecting us at every step - we just have to pray and have faith.
Nice rhyming and flow.
When the table's laid out with bread and wine,
a prayer to my Saviour divine
will centre my faith in a sacred space
so I can take heed of His grace.
Good luck in the contest.

I found a great strength from those words, along with the image you use to give a greater demonstration. I was moved by this spiritual prayer like verse. Thank you for sharing. Well said.

Thank you for reviewing. I'm pleased it imparted some strength to you. I was inspired spiritually to write this. I do not write poems about my faith very often, but the Lord moved me to write this.

Thanks Roy - it came to me as song lyrics, written quite quickly, clearly divine inspiration. I liked how it ended with "I believe". I admire your spiritual poetry, so I'm pleased you liked this one of mine.
