Thank you, Betty. A few other reviewers have already tried this out on their children/grandchildren. Unfortunately, my own grand-daughter lives a long way away, but she will get to hear it one day. Thanks for the kind words.

I really like this one. Reminds me of being a little girl. I can taste that sugar water tea! The rhyming and rhythm are both excellent. The poem moves right along like a little girl skipping now the sidewalk. I've read your style before, oh mystery poet!

the tale is told from the Teddy's viewpoint. Makes the verse more enjoyable than a third person telling the story.
Fine entry in the contest. I'm sure it will clobber mine.
I would have loved to have seen how this would have done with less promoting.

Yes, I did pump it up to bring it to the audience which does give it an advantage. I have never spent a 'real' cent on thhe site, so my view is that anything I earn from reviewing and/or prizes is fairly spent on promoting the next work. It means writing and posting less because reviewing takes up a lot of time...

Yes, it does take time and unfortunately, in my opinion, it dilutes reviews, the real effect of reviews and and tilts the ratings and rankings. When I first joined the site in Nov, 2007 it was not so bad even though pushed by the site. It mushroomed when the site put that table up everytime you post. Almost everything I posted the first couple of years went All Time Best (ATB). Hardly, any of my postings go ATB anymore. I think it is a shame, because that is not what the site should be about.
Anyway, your entry was very enjoyable and congrats on the win.
