This is absolutely beautiful. I love rhyme, the flow, and obviously the subject. Ir is a perfect entry for this contest and I wish you all the best. Beautiful illustration too.

Thank you so much, Valerie - I wrote the first stanza in church this morning and then took hours to figure out how the heck to complete it :-) I appreciate your generous sixth star, my accident-prone friend :-) Brooke

This is a special poem that should be framed and placed in every home. It is very well written with the promise of a better tomorrow. Well worthy of the sixer. Good luck in your contest.

This lovely poem about restoring faith read with a strong rhythm. It has words of encouragement to impart too. When things seem too tough, that is when faith is restored.
Lovely!

What a beautiful picture Brooke. Scenes such as that make us sure and does restore our faith in the almighty. So many scenes that are pleasing to the eye and it is his art. The master painter.
That first stanza is lovely. Nancy

Brooke, I think I have mentioned before that for me faith/religious poetry is something I do not read or especially enjoy. Yet with you write it, I am beguiled by your words. Beautifully written. It takes remarkable skill to make someone read a topic they normally wouldn't. Thank you.

Rea, I really appreciate that you read this. I try to make my faith poems free of that Bible-thumping tone that can turn so many people off. No fire and brimstone or self righteousness here. :-) Brooke
