I love this! Maybe because I'm well beyond the 1/2 century mark and so much enjoy knowing there are other "crazy" folk out there, in the world, who unapologetic ally scribble outside the lines. I look forward to reading more from (and about) you. It sounds like you subscribe to the theory that a life lived too cautiously is not a life well lived. I respect that. Enjoy.

I think its a great little piece that celebrates the indiosynchroses of the individual, those little nuances that make for the flavor of life. I like how you talk about running off in different directions on whims; crossing the Atlantic for love, going to BC to celebrate your birthday, learn a new language, thumb your nose at the anti pet policy. I think it speaks of the excitement of living on the cuff. We all need to do that sometimes. Its great to live by that creed. estory

Iza Deleanu Writing Wisdom 20I found quite interesting.
Smiles to all your achievements you plan to do especially,
biggest accomplishment: staying alive, despite my crazy impulse to put myself in danger.
You gave an excellent of a satire.

Thank you so much, Ms. Gert, how are you?

You are welcome Iza Deleanu
I'm doing okay after I had my stroke, find it difficult to walk and having problems when I'm talking and my vision.
Thank you so much for asking of how I'm doing.

Absolutely, no regrets. You have been true to yourself, you have believed in yourself, you have achieved success in the things that mean the most to you. A life well lived. A story well written.

Hooray for you, Iza! You have proven yourself to be a courageous as well as talented young lady. Approaching 50 may seem old to you, but not to me. You still have much living to do and with your attitude and adventurous spirit, you will do it well. This is a great list of achievements and you have a right to celebrate. When is your birthday? I very much enjoyed this essay.

This piece on achievements is eye-opening, Iza, and makes me want to applaud you for jumping fences, pushing the envelope, and bringing your Romanian self to Fanstory.

Comment from Jannypan (Jan)
You are a lady who lives in the moment, Iza. I enjoyed your Oscar winning post. I remember some of the stories you have shared on FS. I applaud you going after what you want full force--letting nothing stand in your way.
May I suggest:
Don't look at me(._ I am sinking! In a couple of years, I will reach half of a century, but my wisdom is still young, or as some people are saying, still green! Usually, when you get at this point, normal people like to do the "Oscar Ceremony" and pull a wonderful and super long list of achievements.
Mine bro(bio) is going to be super short, and without ceremony,(.) [Maybe] maybe I will keep the Prosecco section, because in the rhythm I am dancing with my Visa, there will be no Champagne.[no capital c ]
My list would include achievements like:
Crazy enough to go and study abroad with a language I learnt from TV:
Crazy enough to believe in love at first sight, and cross the[ Atlantic ] Ocean.
Crazy enough to go back to school and get a new degree, so I can get a better job.
Crazy enough to choose to go to an Ukrainian church , instead of a Romanian.
Crazy enough to have illegal cats, despite the no Pet Policy "Redbull".
Crazy enough to travel by myself to Victoria and celebrate my birthday into[ at ] a new place.
Crazy enough to write in English with my crapenstein grammar, and even roll the dice in a couple of contests outside Fan Story
The biggest accomplishment: staying alieve,[alive ] despite my crazy impulse to put myself in danger
So, yeah these are my achievements and a couple of friends, which I had the honor and privilege to have their support in my crazy adventures. This is my life, for better or worse(,) I have lived to the fullest, so no regrets!
Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Respectfully, Jan
