Thank you! I've read an amazing poem, sublimely complimented by a beautiful piece of artwork and I've learned something new. Synesthesia. I love your well written depiction of this phenomenon.

You have crafted a tasteful and colorful display of wordsmanship. I can not only see, feel, and taste your craftsmanship. I can also hear it. The rhythm pounds to a beat that is easy to catch and follow. Outstanding.

Yes, I do believe your right. We very much observe what are happening in colours. At least, I know that I do albeit it's not in a conscious way. but your wonderful poem made me aware of the fact. Good luck. Ulla:)))

Hi Ulla,
Yes, this is an interesting sensory input cross wiring that kind of combines senses or mixes them up in a new dynamic! Thank you for your amazing thoughts and for sharing them with me.

Synesthesia is an interesting concept.
Thank you for your notes explaining the unique ability to taste colors, see sounds and feel numbers. I don't think I have any of the abilities.
It would be very cool, I think?
Well done.
Blessings

Hi Janet,
Yes, really cool cross wiring of sensory input creates a new dynamic. Thank you for your amazing thoughts and for sharing them with me today. We all may have shades of these unconsciously. More common than first thought.
All the best..

Synesthesia
Nice tactile senses and imagery
Engages multiple senses
Great entry for the Color contest.
It must be confusing to cross senses.
Good luck in the contest.

Hi Gypsy,
Thank you for your amazing thoughts and for sharing them today. Yes, I would think synesthetes would find is confusing but many say it enhances their creativity and recall and consider it a gift.

I thought this work and the accompanying information so interesting. I was not familiar with most of this. I appreciate your ability to capture the reader and share this. I do admit I would have had much difficulty deciphering your work had you not expanded with explanation. Thanks so much for sharing.

Hi Elainec,
Thank you for this amazing review and lovely gift of six stars. I am so glad you liked my poem and it spoke to you. Yes, people who have this sensory
condition of crossing senses say it enhances their creativity, memory and recall and consider it a gift. Shades of this seem to exist in many more people than originally thought. So interesting!
Thank you again for this special review. It made my day ❤️

A very creatively written poem. I have heard that the most evocative artworks are made when the brain produces synesthesia of emotions. I love music and I am an avid painter. But I have never ever felt it. I enjoyed your poem. Thanks for sharing. Good luck!

Hi Seshadri,
Good to hear from you! I know, this is more common than once thought, or to some degrees of this sensory cross wiring of sorts. Who knew? Women are more affected than men for whatever reason and those who have it consider it a gift that adds to memory, recall and creativity.
Thanks for your amazing review and thoughts and for sharing them today.

Good morning....
I can't decide if have one or more of these synesthetes would be a blessing or hindrance. It would be awesome to see the world as a beautiful rainbow but at times I prefer the "black and white" of things.
Smiles, Carol

Hi Carol,
I know what you mean. It would be so strange if you could not turn off this sensory perception anomaly. Thanks so much for your interesting thoughts and for sharing them this morning :-)

I am reminded of a saying from my college days in the 60s, "I hate it when somebody has drugs and they don't share." Your colorful offering takes me back to some strange conversations. Enjoyed it.
