"He was leaning against the weight of his swirling thoughts." Though there's some very good imagery with thought in this poem, that line is a real gem.

I enjoyed this one very much. It speaks well to me as a person of almost 85 years of age. I am beginning to feel like the old man sitting in the garden. I wish you the very best with all of your writing, and I do wish you the very best and caring for your body as well. Patricia.

I certainly can relate to this one, my friend. As I turn 68 this summer, I am refecting on God's grace and sovereignty in my own life. Beautifully penned and illustrated poetry as always, and a fine addition to your book.
Thank you for sharing.
Sending you my best today as always.

Very nicely done. It gives thought for those of us with the majority of life behind them, A few words used seemed out of place, not context, like vortex, in my point of view, Change is not suggested.

This poem, Seasons of the Body III, seems to find the man at peace with his place in the world and the time with which he has to enjoy and recall all that is his life. Nice.
