Well, if I had to guess the ethnicity of this 'blind' author, I should say they hailed from Britannia's shores - because the original advert behind this outrageous pun, is as English as Roast Beef!
At least 30 years ago, the manufacturers of 'Stork Margarine' (still going strong) had one of the most persuasive advertising campaigns on British television: any number of 'housewives', when asked to take a blind taste test, assured us that they 'couldn't tell Stork from butter' (Stork was the brand name of a leading margarine) - then the interviewer would reiterate the legend: 'So, you see, ladies, these housewives can't tell Stork from butter . . .' which was odd because the other 99% of the great British public was quite sure they could. So, Stork makes great cakes, but on my toast? No fear!
So our mantis, bagging a British moth, and being something of a satirist, misquotes the old advert - he's been waiting to use this gag for ages.
It's one he made earlier.
A howler of a haiku. But I forgive you. Best joke since . . . yesterday.
Paul

There is actually an American brand of oleo called I CAN*T BELIEVE IT*S NOT BUTTER.

    Thank you for enlightening me.
Is it possible that 'oleo' is the US brand name for the UK 'Stork'?
I appreciate the upgrade in knowledge.
    I am still learning.
    Best wishes, Paul
