Excellent, yes, to relax and unwind relieves all the stress of the day and the worlds confusion, to transmit our mental thoughts to our body is such a comforting time, very well written****kahpot

Yes, we need time to unwind. Your poem is a great reminder. You do have to let your muscles relax, and things can become pretty tense. It can lead to pain if you don't relax. Sometimes a change of scenery is a help. As you mention, turning your thoughts to God can help you relax. This is certainly a subject everyone can relate to. I'm sure you feel stress every day you're at work. judi

I am improving with dealing with healthcare stress. It is not easy but after thirty years, I am learning to let it go. Thanks for reading my poem and your encouraging words. Elaine

I can believe your work gives you a lot of stress. Writing is a great way to take your mind off things, I've found. judi

"And beneath are the Everlasting Arms." Well said, well written. Stress is a killer in so many ways. Still, the world is in turmoil and it is hard to switch off because it is getting worse. "Take the time to touch the morning."

Well done mermaids. Rhyme was very good and by the end of your poem I felt calm and relaxed. As an ex military medic I know that others of our ilk should head your advice. Good job.

A lovely, meditative post which is simply expressed but goes straight to the heart of our need to talk ourselves into a more stress-free and beneficial way of life. I like the fluency to your free verse, enhanced by your monorhyme. Nicely done (I feel better already:)) Take care Debbie
