What I know about haiku can be fit into a thimble, and if questions arrive I should go to the source, Gypsy Rose, I suppose, to ask if this one of yours meets her criteria but instead let's see... 17 syllables of 5-7-5. Yep, that's correct, and now my thimble is empty again.

That is a very lovely Haiku. It is easy to understand how so many love to live where they can have an ocean breeze and bautiful sunrises or sunsets over water. The ocean does havea calming influence. Beautifully worded, and a stunning image.

I like the "dreams without ripples." Even though the ocean is full of waves, the breeze can be tranquil and the warm, tropical climate can induce a slower, less stressful lifestyle.
