Sad to hear about the looters going through your things. Here, it is a criminal offence. Yes you undoubtedly had some PTSD from this frightening experience. The survival of seven of the cats was remarkable! Very interesting follow-up story.

Thank you Wendy. For some reason, people seem to think, after a disaster with everything out in the open, it should be finders keepers They don't think of themselves as a thief for taking what they find.

People are often fascinated by devastation and other people's sorry and misery. It is a pity you felt like a charity case. The trauma of a tornado takes its toll and scars with its terror. Insurance policies don't payout for such tragedies and people lose everything when storms destroy their homes. I am not sure I could live in those areas. People are often fascinated by devastation and other people's sorry and misery. It is a pity you felt like a charity case. The trauma of a tornado takes its toll and scars with its terror. Insurance policies don't payout for such tragedies and people lose everything when storms destroy their homes. I am not sure I could live in those areas. Thank you Dolly. Yes, people are curious about what happened and feel they need to see for themselves. All areas seem to have problems of some kind. It may be a lot of rain or extreme cold or drought.

I'm in what is considered the Blue Ridge Mts too. When I moved here to Chattanooge they said, we would never have storms here because of the mountains. Now we have severe tornadoes every year.

It isn't hard to believe that you suffered from PTSD or something close to it. I can also understand how the charity would seem good at first but after awhile be hard to take. Your lives were spared but it seems everything else was taken. I noticed one possible typo.

Thank you Marilyn. I'm I glad I was able to get past freaking out over storms. It many ways, we had a much better like after the storm. I never regretted having that happen to us. If someone had died or been badly injured, I wouldn't be saying that. Then it would have been a tragedy

Well Beth one more Mississippi chapter that seem to touch my heart again. Thank you for the story that you are sharing with us and the feelings that accompanied the ups and downs of life storms. I find it interesting that your loss became the subject of near morbid curiosity with the taking of personal items and a continued fascination with your loss. I'm glad for you that you had an indoor toilet from that day on. You said it was "two bed" I take it, it was not "three bath" L O L this continues to be very interesting and relatable.

We hadn't seen any of (them) since the storm and had assumed they were all dead.
