I'm glad to see that Miranda is back and can't wait to see where things will go to this time. According to the title, it appears she is headed for big trouble. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

A beautiful re-entry into the life and trials of dear Miranda! If anything was going to get the reader back into this roller-coaster/inner tube ride, this was it! I'm here for the duration:)) Take care Debbie

You sure write a good story. I like Miranda, she wants to do well, and has a good heart, but sometimes her logic is a bit hinky. She means well. But she has to wonder some days about what to do about that arrow on her back. Karen

She just rolls with the punches, and sometimes pinches back. Thank you for this, Karen. Gretchen

Oh yes, Miranda has sass, and she sounds like she hasn't changed a bit, which is good! I am looking forward to another Miranda story with all the ups and downs and adventures she is bound to have. Your writing is always filled with dry humour and wit, and I like that.

Gretchen,
I visited you from my buddy list, hoping to read more about your side of the Amish story.
But, this delightful story has so much to offer. You display great sardonic wit in describing these characters. Every place, not just trailer courts, have their gossips and demons -- some are just dressed better. lol.
Excellent story, Gretchen!
Best wishes,
Cindy

This is the first chapter so, welcome aboard. I'm glad you enjoyed this. This is Miranda's second book so for me it's like visiting with an old friend. Thank you so much. Gretchen

I Think a touch of cynicism is great for a writer, it sharpens and enlivens the possibilities out there, I don't really trust humans, too volatile and unpredictable. We all need a solid foundation to stand on, Miranda hasn't found her's yet, but she'll have to settle on something for her sanity's sake, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Thank you, Roy. Miranda is still trying to master the parental thing. Lol. She knows her life is sometimes a train wreck but she won't give up. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Another good thing and motivation for Miranda. But. who has mastered the parental thing anyway?

I'm still struggling. And my youngest is 22. Lol

Hi, Gretchen
I really like your style. Your writing is always very humorous
I don't see in this chapter where Miranda is getting accused of murder so that must've happened in a different chapter
I can see that she testified against someone accused of murder
I wonder if in a future chapter, the accused will have somebody come after her for testifying against her
I enjoyed reading your book chapter
Good job. Thank you for sharing.

The first book she was a suspect in a gruesome murder but she figured out who really killed the victim. This is chapter 1, so you're on the ground floor right now. Thank you for this. Gretchen

It would happen to me as well. And, as I stated, nobody wants to see that. Lol. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Good, I've been missing Miranda although I only joined here after she testified against Missy. Last I heard I remember she was learning Waylon's dad was still alive and hiding out and in some kind of trouble. He kept trying to contact her, I think. I'd love to see another Miranda chapter.

I can't wait to read more, but I still hope Miranda and her cop friend end up together. She may be a puzzle to him, but he seems to enjoy it and he's good for her. Thank you for bringing her back.
