I loved this one! Poor Brenda, I can't imagine her ever doing anything like that again. And Alice, you always get the opposite friends, Alice is the stronger one, but I can't see her doing this again. I loved what you said about the bra! You were so right about needing them to hold them up at my age. These girls certainly do need a bra! LOL. Miranda played this one right, they weren't hardened criminals! So funny about the male strippers. Well done, my friend. Great chapter. Sandra xx

Miranda is great! She always has the best approaches to problems, and a good way to solve them. Fancy Brenda even thinking noone would notice two wine bottles shoved down her fron. She's have to walk out with her arms folded across her chest! Lol. An enjoyable chapter. I best Waylon would have a good laught about it! Well written.

Thank you, Wendy. I think Miranda had fun. It was like toddler's stealing cookies. Anyway, thank you so much. Gretchen

Shop lifting is common in Britain and most stores have cameras everywhere to prevent it. My daughter and I visited a shop yesterday where the exit was hemmed in so that it was difficult for anyone to escape with the goods. My immediate thought was that if there was a fire in that shop, no one would get out alive!
Wine is a luxury item that you can live without, and stealing a bottle that is hard to conceal and this sounds like a futile exercise. I enjoyed your approach to this scene Gretchen, having some sympathy for these shoplifters. I once saw a woman serving in a charity shop and she pocketed a five pound note. She knew I had seen her and she had terror in her eyes. I left the shop without saying anything. I hope her conscience got the better of her, but once a thief, always a thief.
Another fine chapter, love Dolly x x x

Theft is very common here as well. If it's food, for family, I might be driven to it too, but there are charities and food banks. Hard to use that excuse anymore. Thanks so much. Gretchen
