Nomi and Yvonne were married over 50 years. In all that time, you become one person. I recognize how much he has lost. Thank you Debbie for expressing these kind words of encouragement for one of our dear family members. I especially like your reminder that God will shine His light.

To Nomi: I am so sorry for your loss, and pray the God gives you and your family strength and peace during these dark days, and forever more.

This was a sweet poem for Noni after the loss of his beloved wife. I liked the last two lines especially. Thank you for sharing this poem, and best wishes to you.

This is a wonderful poem, I enjoyed reading it out loud. There is a spiritual feel in your words and I like your last line "and in the mourning God will shine His light". It is a line of faith and hope.

Debbie, this is such an original message to a person in grief. Very well written.

Just wondering: Do you need a comma after "mourning" or perhaps forget the comma and use "morning".

Thanks much for sharing

The scripture that resonates perfectly with this great poem you've written Debbie, would be, Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5 it's a terrible thing to be the one that's left behind, beautifully written Debbie, blessings Roy

Wonderful artwork to support the well chosen words in order to provide Nomi with strength at this difficult time.

Clocks may stop, but time marches on as the saying goes. Which is a good thing. To sit stagnant and lament day in and out would not be good.

Nice chapter to the book.

Great use of the homonym morning/mourning. Yes, God's light will shine through for Nomi and his family at this dark time for them. May He embrace them and meet every need for comfort and peace.
