I thought this was a perfect sympathy piece for Nomi. I hadn't heard is wife died; I think I reviewed one of his pieces not that long ago. But this haiku type piece had perfect balance, the nature image, and the epiphany moment to make a perfect haiku. I thought the flower image great for capturing that sense of the cycle of season and life, and the fragrance that drifts into eternity has elements of the persistence of memory and hope in the life to come. Nice job with this one. estory

For those of us that have marriage partners would dread the thought that their spouses would be gone before them, but when one has that hope within them it's merely a transitional happening, the wonderful things like family is a sharing of being proud parents and grand parents. Not an issue. He said I could edit my chapter number so I think I'm at chapter eleven. Who knew it would be that easy?
