You drew me from my efforts at catching up my computer tasks, just thought to read a few. Now I need to go back and read all the ones I missed! Your characters sing! Esther

I am blessed by your friendship and your stars. You are so kind and I apology (sort of) for taking you from your work, but at the same time I am thrilled. Thank you for reading and enjoying this one.

Good chapter! Things like this make my heart race. LOL! I like the way you ended with 'just a few more seconds,' as if anything could happen in the next chapter. A few small fixes: 'he saw the clerk...admiring the delicate (petals).' 'Jose, I don't know about this(.)' Good tension in this chapter!
Hugs! Carol

Alejandro was found out, but will he get away. I have a feeling he'll get caught, if not right away very soon. I enjoyed reading.
Jose's voice remained steady. "Listen to me. (steady,)
After a pause, Jose's voice softened. "Listen, I trust you. I (softened,)

Woah, that's a brilliant intense way to end your chapter on, Carol. I could really feel the tension Alejandro was feeling as he tried to impersonate Arthur. Now I can't wait to find out how he is going to get out of this situation. Another excellent piece.

I must now rack my brain and decide the man's fate. He never meant to be the bad guy, but he has fallen to Jose's manipulation. Now does he pay the price or reap the benefits? I better get busy if we are to learn the outcome.

Another great chapter. I felt like I was watching a gangster movie! I was waiting for him to get caught. I like the line of a neon sign above him arrest this man. That was good. Keep up the great work Carol!

Oh dear, I was hoping he wouldn't do it!! There are bound to be cameras everywhere. And of course, Jose's father! He was right, he won't get away with it, but Jose might. This chapter was excellent, Carol, I felt everything Alejandro was feeling, and everyone else. Very well done, my clever friend. Love you lots. Sandra xxx
I've been so tired these last few days, and haven't been able to concentrate on anything. I see you have two other posts I haven't read, I will read them today. xxx

Don't you worry about me...Take care of yourself. Have you been overworking and not getting enough rest or IS IT SOMETHING ELSE???
I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter and things are going to explode....The other posts are simply stories reminding me of who I am, I guess.
Thank you and take care....
Smiles, hugs and lots of love, Carol

Would he indeed get away with? And he certainly had intoxicated the girl into thinking that the deception had worked, but he did escape with the papers, but will he get away with it? Yet all will be manifest in the due time. Well done, beautifully, written, blessings Roy

Poor Alejandro - what did he get himself into? That was a clever thing to give the rose and compliment the young clerk. But I would have thought they would have closed his account when he was considered dead. I know some banks even require fingerprints to get into the vault. The signatures probably did not match. Jose really didn't consider the peril he was putting his friend in to force him to do this. I guess we'll find out if he gets away.

In the story, the bank probably hasn't been notified of his death yet because it just happened and those involved are technically tied up in other places. Of course, the signatures didn't match so it's all happening on a wing and a prayer so to speak.

Interesting chapter. You do good job letting the reader not only follow the scene externally, but the internal turmoil only adds to the thrill and pacing of the heist. The reader has to wonder what that bank officer actually was going to say.
