Hi Jessica,
This tells of the sun and the moon creating light for day and night and also human love as it grows and matures. There is always a light in the eyes of a love one that leads you to them and yourself.

This is a lovely free verse, Jessica, both sensual and romantic about an evening on the shore at sunset. A good use of descriptive alliteration through out. I loved it, and wish you well in the contest.

Such a beautiful love poem, rich in imagery and with a great accompanying photo, Jess. Your free verse is so much better than most because it has a rhythm to it, which I think is all to the good.
Wonderfully sensual and picturesque, as these lovers meet at the dying of the day. Are his eyes troubled because he's not sure if she's coming?
The final few lines are exquisite as she prefers to watch the final light of the day reflected in her lover's eyes.
