I'm glad of two things. First, Mitch understand Miranda and all her faults and love her anyway. Second, he's willing to be there for Waylon. Maybe he can smooth things over for Miranda. I do like this story.

Yes, it's usually the case that we can see everything going on and how things should be in everyone else's life. But most times, we can't seem to keep our own lives between the guardrails. Thanks for sharing.

Miranda is a bit impetuous and she has to learn to contain herself at times. Mitch is a good counterbalance for her .I was surprised at Wzylon's anger .i thought he knew she was going to tlk to his teacher...

Waylon knew she wanted to talk to Mr. Tomlin. He asked her not to. That's why he was angry. Yes, Mitch is very good for her. Thank you for this nice review. Gretchen

A fine chapter. Miranda can't help herself - that's just the way she is, forthright and honest, not given to tact. That's why I like her. (And why Mitch loves her!) She says and does thing we would all like to be brave enough to say and do. But sometimes it backfires, and here, it looks like it has, because Waylon will be the one to bear the bullying from the "teacher". Looking forward to more.

A fine chapter. Miranda can't help herself - that's just the way she is, forthright and honest, not given to tact. That's why I like her. (And why Mitch loves her!) She says and does thing we would all like to be brave enough to say and do. But sometimes it backfires, and here, it looks like it has, because Waylon will be the one to bear the bullying from the "teacher". Looking forward to more.

That is one thing Miranda and I wouldn't agree about. I always hated knowing my mom had been anywhere near one of my teachers. I avoided talking about my kids to their teachers for that reason. My best friend was like Miranda and she said she had it out with her kid's teachers because she said her mother didn't stand up for her. Miranda's personality makes it almost impossible to stay out of it. Mitch is good for her.

I generally skip over small font especially if the narrative is not double spaced, but I've read episodes of your collaboration with Rachelle, and enjoy your writing style.
