He gave so much for us and suffered the agony of the cross, yet we still find ourselves slipping and not being the perfect child. But be assured his love will never fail us.

Praise the Lord for winning for us "Heaven's ground" and in Him we are found and blessed with His joy and His immeasurable love. We'll never fully comprehend it all.

Yes, thankfully He still loves us enough to redeem us, though we did not deserve this. He suffered anguished pain on our behalf, while we were still sinners. Lovely poem.

I enjoyed reading this poem as I do all of your work, Roy. The line that spoke to me is: "The Lord still thinks we have great worth while we still cloud His days." There are days that I do not feel worthy, most days.

Our pastor mentioned the first Adam and second Adam in his sermon today from 1 Corinthians 15. Interesting that I'm hearing it from you also!
Good rhymes throughout. I like that you changed the rhyme scheme and line length for the final stanza. Blessings. Carol
